Trompe l'oeil, paint effects & gilding at a villa in Beaulieu, Provence, Part 3

 

 

The Powder Room wall and door panels were decorated with Italianate grisaille trompe l'oeil designs over a faux porphyry background. The surrounding woodwork was painted in ivory.
