Trompe mahogany grained panels, William Kent Room,
William Kent House
The area under the dado was grained with tromp
l'oeil panels to tie in with the tall heavy doors. The walls were covered
with pink silk damasc (protected with sheet plastic in the photo above)
Owen Turville and Vivienne Francis did a fine job
on the Rouge Griotte marbling.
